Annual Giving Campaign
Today Suncom's five facilities serve 450 people with disabilities from Northumberland, Columbia, Montour, Snyder, and Union counties. At a time ofdwindling government support, we are confronted with surging costs forenergy, transportation, employees' health insurance and routine maintenance.More than ever before, we need your support to continue serving our neighbors, family members and friends to meet their specialized needs.
Please consider supporting Suncom this year with a pledge or a gift. The easiest way to benefit the individuals served by Suncom may be to charge your credit or debit card for your gift. Donations can be made by check, or here on our website on the Donations page which utilizes PayPals secure service for monetary tranactions,or by phone at (570) 473-8352. But whatever method of support you choose,we hope you will agree to make a difference with a gift.
Because of the support last year Suncom was able to purchase three"Thera-Glide Safety Gliders" which will help reduce falls with a an automatic-locking system that prevents rocking while entering or exiting the chair.
Corporate Gift Matching
Corporate gift matching makes your donation go further.
Many companies have programs through which they will "match" the charitable contributions made by their employees. Through corporate gift matching, your employer can multiply your gift to SUNCOM, making it go further.
Check with your company's Human Resources office to see if they offer gift matching. (If they don't, you may want to ask your company to start one.) If your employer does offer this program, your Human Resources department should provide you with a matching gift form to send to SUNCOM along with your donation.

The programs of SUNCOM depend on your goodwill. If you don't know where to begin we can work with your financial planner to develop a giving program that works for you and your family.
Gifts of Stock
Let us know when you expect a gift of stock to be made and if there is a particular program you wish to benefit. SUNCOM will work with your broker or banking institution to help you execute this donation option.
